oRipa Screen Recorder is a tool that allows you to record everything that happens on your computer screen.
The output format of the videos that the program produces is AVI, not Flash, although you can choose the compression format if you so desire.
It's also possible to determine the size of the resulting video, the number of frames per second, and the audio properties.
To prepare to record, you only need to choose where to save the video, and you're good to go.
Use the controls situated at the bottom of the program's menu to start recording. To stop, right-click the oRipa Screen Recorder icon on your menu bar and select the 'Stop Record' option.
Keep in mind - the program creators warn that oRipa Screen Recorder is not useful for recording 3D video games or conversations with webcams.
